The Master of Photography NFFF title has been revised to better suit its original purpose as a portfolio title.
The MNFFF title has always been intended as a portfolio title rather than “just another” competition title. Nevertheless, the NSMiF/s title has previously been required to apply. This has now been changed. All the details can be found on this dedicated page, but here are some takeaway points:
- MNFFF is not a competition award but a portfolio title. Participation and achievements in international salons are no longer prerequisites for application.
- There are now two types of MNFFF – Distinction and Theme.
- Anyone who is a member of a camera club from one of the four national societies (or direct member) may apply for MNFFF/Theme.
- To apply for an MNFFF/Distinction, you must first have the NSMiF/s title or at least two approved MNFFF/Theme titles.
Distinctions: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum.
Themes: Architecture, Photojournalism, Nature, Urban Nature, Nude, Portrait, Landscape, Street Photography, Sports, Concert/Dance, Fiction/Composite.
