The symbolism in our logo

Our logo is filled with symbolism from the Viking era, which bind the Nordic Countries together.

The logo is shaped like a shield, with the Midgard’s worm shape around. The run in the middle is lagu, the run of art and creation. The shield has 8 parts and was the old Norrøne calendars. There are also 8 Nordic countries: Finland, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Iceland, Greenland, the Faroe Islands and Åland. The eight-leaf rose marks the four national federations in the Nordic countries, and it has also different meanings, including good luck, which may be good to have in competitions.
