Bjarne Hyldgaard, NSMIF/d2 – Denmark
My subject is predominantly portraiture, environmental portraiture and artistic nude.
A major source of inspiration is international photography salons worldwide. I currently participate in roughly 75-150 censured salons every year. Competition there may be fierce, but also necessary to drive me to evolve. Progress doesn’t just happen – it takes effort and hard work.
I won my first international medal in 1999. Since then I have racked up more than 450 international awards, including 14 FIAP Blue Badges.
I have been an international judge at ”The Golden” (DK), ”Malmö international” (S), the Swedish national photographic championship, the Norwegian national championship (twice), the Danish national championship, the FIAP biennial in Bergen, Norway, and the Irish Championship.
My pictures have been on exhibit in Rundetaarn (Copenhagen, DK), the Danish Museum of Photography, in photo galleries and in the Danish Ministry of Foreign affairs.
I am a holder of the EFIAP/d2, MSDF/s, ESSDF, NSMiF/g distinctions and Nordic Champion in photography in 2017, 2018 and 2019.
