Ilkka Niskanen, NSMIF/p – Finland

I have been very keen on photographing for many years even though it is only my hobby. It all started over 20 years ago, when I took a photography course, and since then I have been hooked.

Nowadays wildlife photographing is my passion and I feel that nature is the place where I can feel my soul rest. I like to challenge myself by participating especially nature photo competitions and I have been very happy to get some remarkable prizes.

But I still also take pictures of all kinds of events, places and people.

I reached MFIAP ( Master FIAP ) in 2011 and HonSKsLE ( Hon-Eminence photographer ) distinction from the Finnish association for photographers in 2018.
