In my early age I took up birdwatching as one of my several hobbies. From the library I borrowed all kind of books about it. In one I learned how Yrjö Kokko took pictures of swans from a hide (published in 1950) and I was hooked…

My father bought me the first Asahi Pentax camera and I carried it on my long excursions. Soon I started to photograph plants and landscapes also. Later during the working career as engineer I didn’t find the time. Then I started the nature photography again, when the retirement was approaching.

Today I dedicate again all my spare time to create pictures that my get published or ranked in competitions. My work was awarded for example in nature photo events NNPC (Norway) and Glanzlichter (Germany).
